A beach volleyball program for the player looking to take their beach game to a competitive level
2026 S3 Summer Elite Program
The S3 Summer Elite training offers a deeper dive into the world of beach volleyball. The Summer Elite program allows for more experienced athletes who have been training indoors to come out and join in on parts of our year round training schedule, including some of our travel events.
There is a tryout/selection process for athletes interested in the Summer Elite program. The athletes for S3's Summer Elite should have solid, higher level experience with the game of volleyball. Our goal is to take the upper level indoor athlete and guide them on how to become a competitive and successful beach volleyball player.
The S3 Summer Elite Program is offered at our Badger Creek, Lakepoint and Georgia State University locations. Training will take place two days per week starting on Monday May 11th for Badger Creek and GSU locations or Tuesday May 12th for the Lakepoint location. The Elite program will wrap up on Wednesday July 1st for Badger Creek and GSU locations or Thursday July 2nd for the Lakepoint location. Summer Elite players will participate in a total of 8 glorious weeks of beach volleyball.
Why S3 Summer Elite?
- Higher Level of Play- drill, practice and compete against year-round beach volleyball players.
- Experienced Beach Coaches- our coaches are beach specific coaches. We specialize in beach training. We don't split our time with indoor.
- Compete in Local & Travel Events- Summer Elite players get a chance to travel with our year round program. Including attending Nationals in Hermosa Beach, California.
- Experienced Beach Program- S3 Volleyball has been a beach only club for TEN seasons. We have the largest and most experienced beach specific staff of any club in the state of Georgia.
- Nationally Recognized Beach Program- S3 Volleyball has won several junior's National Championships in the last few years, including USA Volleyball, AVP and Rox Volleyball. We have also been recognized by the JVA as a national club of the month.
- Beach Networking Across the Country- We actively work with other clubs from coast to coast. Our players get the opportunity to train and complete with and against some of the top beach volleyball programs in the country.
- Collegiate Recruiting Assistance- We have helped more high school athletes achieve their dream of playing beach volleyball in college than any other club in the state of Georgia.
Summer 2026 Details
S3 Summer Elite training is an 8 week program that will take place two days per week starting on May 11th or May 12th through July 1st or July 2nd. A total of 15 practice sessions. Note there will not be a session on Memorial Day.
Tryouts Dates: (only need to attend one date)
- Sunday, April 19th- Tryouts will be at Badger Creek from 2:00-4:00pm
- Sunday, April 26th- Tryouts will be at Badger Creek from 1:00-3:00pm
- Thursday, May 7th -Tryouts will be at Lakepoint from 6:00-8:00pm
- Saturday, May 9th- Tryouts will be at Badger Creek from 10:00am-noon
- Saturday, May 9th -Tryouts will be at Holy Spirit Prep from 10:00am- noon.
- TBD-If you missed the regular tryouts, you can still be evaluated for a spot.
**Your tryout location does not determine your preferred practice location. You can tryout at one location, but select the other location for practices. Players need to only attend one of the tryout date.
Practice nights will be:
- Mondays & Wednesdays at our Badger Creek location (7:00-9:00pm)
- Mondays & Wednesdays at our Georgia State location (6:30-8:30pm) **Space is limited at our GSU location. For more info please email us: info@s3volleyball.com
OR - Tuesdays & Thursdays at our Lakepoint location (6:00-8:00pm, shifting to 6:30-8:30 at certain point in season)
During the S3 Summer Elite season, you will be eligible to be coached at one to two local tournaments and one travel tournament in both May and June. You are also eligible to attend and be coached at the various beach national tournaments in July!!
