2026 S3 Summer Elite Program
The S3 Summer Elite Program offers a deeper dive into the world of beach volleyball. This program is specifically designed to offer experienced indoor volleyball athletes the opportunity to transition their skills and join a segment of our year-round training schedule.
There is a tryout/selection process for athletes interested in the Summer Elite program. Interested athletes should possess solid, higher-level experience within the game of volleyball. Our objective is to guide accomplished indoor players in acquiring the specialized skills and knowledge necessary to become competitive and successful beach volleyball players. Summer Elite players will participate in a total of 8 glorious weeks of beach volleyball training.
The S3 Summer Elite Program is offered at our Badger Creek, Lakepoint and Georgia State University locations.
Why S3 Summer Elite?
Higher Level of Play- drill, practice and compete against year-round beach volleyball players.
- Experienced Beach Coaches- our coaches are beach specific coaches. We specialize in beach training. We don't split our time with indoor.
- Compete in Local & Travel Events- Summer Elite players get a chance to travel with our year round program. Including attending Nationals in Hermosa Beach, California.
- Experienced Beach Program- S3 Volleyball has been a beach only club for TWELVE seasons. We have the largest and most experienced beach specific staff of any club in the state of Georgia.
- Nationally Recognized Beach Program- S3 Volleyball has won several junior's National Championships in the last few years, including USA Volleyball and AVP. We have also been recognized by the JVA as a national club of the month.
- Beach Networking Across the Country- We actively work with other clubs from coast to coast. Our players get the opportunity to train and complete with and against some of the top beach volleyball programs in the country.
- Collegiate Recruiting Assistance- We have helped more high school athletes achieve their dream of playing beach volleyball in college than any other club in the state of Georgia.
Summer 2026 Details
S3 Summer Elite training is an 8 week program that will take place two days per week. This program is offered at 3 locations: Badger Creek, Lakepoint and Georgia State University.
- Badger Creek will train on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on Monday May 11th. The last training day will be on Wednesday July 1st. There will be no training on Memorial Day.
- GSU will train on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on Monday May 11th. The last training day will be on Wednesday July 1st. There will be no training on Memorial Day. **Space is limited at our GSU location.
- Lakepoint will train on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The program will begin on Tuesday May 12th. The last training day will be Thursday July 2nd.
During the S3 Summer Elite season, players will be eligible to be coached at one to two local tournaments and one travel tournament taking place in May and June. You may also eligible to attend and be coached at the various beach national tournaments in July!
Tryouts Dates: (only need to attend one date)
- Sunday, April 19th- Tryouts will be at Badger Creek from 2:00-4:00pm
- Sunday, April 26th- Tryouts will be at Badger Creek from 1:00-3:00pm
- Thursday, May 7th -Tryouts will be at Lakepoint from 6:00-8:00pm
- Thursday, May 7th -Tryouts will be at Holy Spirit Prep from 6:15-8:00pm.
- Saturday, May 9th- Tryouts will be at Badger Creek from 10:00am-noon
- TBD-If you missed the regular tryouts, you can still be evaluated for a spot.
Please note that your tryout location is independent of your preferred practice location. Athletes have the option to attend a tryout at one facility and select a different location for their designated training. Additionally, players are only required to attend one of the scheduled tryout dates.
Practice nights will be:
- Mondays & Wednesdays at our Badger Creek location (7:00-9:00pm)
- Mondays & Wednesdays at our Georgia State location (6:30-8:30pm) **Space is limited at our GSU location
- Tuesdays & Thursdays at our Lakepoint location (6:00-8:00pm, shifting to 6:30-8:30 at certain point in season)
