Claire Doyle

A proud Atlanta native, Claire grew up in Atlanta and attended The Lovett School, where her passion for volleyball began. She comes from a strong athletic family. Her brother played basketball at Georgia Tech and now serves as Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Marist School. Claire started playing beach volleyball in 2014, competing in national tournaments across California and Gulf Shores through USAV and BVCA.
She continued her academic and athletic career at Texas Christian University (2016–2020), where she was Team Captain from 2018–2020 and earned numerous honors, including Riff Ram Honor Roll (2016–2020), Academic All–Big XII At-Large Team (2017), and Academic All–Big XII First Team (2019–2020). She also served as Secretary/Treasurer for the TCU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and Business.
After college, she lived in Park City, Utah (2020–2024), continuing to compete in open beach tournaments and earning nine women’s open podium finishes. She returned to Atlanta in September 2024 and married her high school sweetheart, Freddy Achecar in March of 2025. Freddy is also a former athlete playing professional baseball. He is currently an Assistant JV Baseball Coach at Lovett.
Claire still loves playing beach volleyball and is happy to be sharing her experiences of the game with the next generation of players. She currently works at Mizuno USA headquarters as a Product Manager.
