Tom Boyle

Tom has been dedicated to the sport of volleyball since he first took to a court—starting on a WallyBall court in 1987. His passion for the game transitioned into coaching in 1996. 

Tom’s extensive experience includes five years as an assistant coach at Sprayberry High School, volunteer community coaching at Kell High School, and a long tenure coaching various age groups at Cobb Atlanta Juniors (now Tsunami Cobb) since 2010. He has a particular enthusiasm for nurturing the sport’s newest talent, dedicating much of his time to the 12s age group to connect with players just beginning their volleyball journey.

Now, Tom is excited to bring his decades of experience to S3 to help guide the next generation of  players. When he’s not coaching, he’s at home with his wife, Cathy—who he met on a volleyball blind date—and their three girls, Ellie, Sarah, and Olivia.
